Solway Lass - Example Meal Menu

(Note: menus will change based on produce availability, seasonal variances and the host.)

Boarding is at 7:00pm on 1st night.  Guests are advised to have an early meal before joining the cruise.
Guests with special diets are asked to advise at time of reservation. Some food requests attract extra fee.

Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Chilled water are complimentary throughout the Solway Lass cruise. 


8-8.30pm: Party Pies and Sausage Rolls with sauce

10-11pm: Freshly made pumpkin soup with either garlic bread or warm crusty bread with butter

1st DAY

7-9.00am: Breakfast which is three cereals, fruit salad, three breads (white, wholemeal, fruit), baked beans, philly cream cheese, sliced tomatoes, yoghurt, milk, margarine, juice. Condiments: Vegemite, peanut butter, honey, strawberry jam and marmalade

10-10.30am: Assortment of biscuits/fruit cake

12-1.30pm: Lunch time varies based on the activites

BBQ sausages

Vegie burgers

Pasta Salad

Potato Bake or Salad or Mash

Green salad

Fresh cob loaf (served in basket)

3-3.30pm: Fresh seasonal fruit platter

5-5.30pm: Nachos with melted cheese, salsa & sour cream, garnished with shallots or chives, 

7-7.30pm: Chicken breast, seared and cooked in oven or cooked on BBQ or chopped up and made into a curry, served with rice and greek salad. Sauce, either Green Curry, Satay or Italian. Garlic & cheese bread.

2nd DAY

7-9.00am: Breakfast as Day 1.

10-10.30am: Assortment of biscuits/fruit cake

12-1.30pm: Lunch:

Cold meat platter

Salad platter with cucumber, tomato, sprouts, cheese, carrot

Tuna salad with mayo, shallots, red capsicum

Curried egg mix

Pasta Bake

Fresh cob loaf bread in basket

3-3.30pm: Fresh seasonal fruit platter, fruit cake

5-5.30pm: Dips (sour cream & sweet chilli or sour cream with corn relish and Tabasco). Cheese, carrot sticks, green olives, gherkins, kabana sliced, Jatz 

7-7.30pm: Roast Pork, gravy (or veg lasagne for vegetarians)

Roast potatoes, Roast pumpkin

Corn on the cob, peas

Fresh warmed plait bread with butter

8.30pm: Chocolate cake or fruit salad with ice cream & Chocolate sauce

3rd DAY

7-9.00am: Cooked breakfast of Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Beans, Toast + Breakfast option from previous days.

10.00am: Assortment of biscuits / fruit cake 

11.30-12pm: Lunch:

Warmed quiches

Caesar Salad with croutons, bacon, egg, parmesan

Cous Cous salad

Greek salad without lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, capsicum, black olives, red onion or white and toss with mint sauce or Italian or balsamic dressing.

3-3.30pm: Fruit / biscuits.

Some Tours out from 24-26 December incur a local fee of $20-$40 per person.

Please note, prices may increase at anytime or specials may be released based on demand.

Our Whitsunday Sailing Tours Include: Service of Captain and Crew, Meals, Snorkelling Equipment,
Wet Suit hire, Linen (please bring Beach Towel), Marine & National Park Fees. The following tours 
also include Local Transfers from Airlie Beach to the Marina and return: Solway Lass, 
Whitsunday Bliss & Day Tours on Southern Cross, Seasprints Whitsunday Bullet and Express. 
Itineraries can change based on weather and sea conditions and guest safety.

Please pack in a small soft bag. Note most vessels have limited storage space. 
No trolley bags can be taken on board.  
  Solway Lass, Prima and Adventurer do not allow bags with zips on board. 
 Large Bags can be stored at our office in Airlie Beach for a small fee. 

 Whitsunday Bliss does allow for larger soft sided bags. NO trolley bags please.

 What to Pack: 
Swimmers, hat, sunglasses, personal toiletries, beach towel, runners or sandals for the island walks.

 Alcohol: Solway Lass has a licenced bar on-board, so no BYO.
Drinks are sold at reasonable prices.  
 All other vessels
guests can BYO Alcohol and store in the esky on board.
