Whitsunday Blue is a beautiful sailing catamaran, with a spacious, open foredeck, shaded back deck and plenty of indoor seating. Enjoy a glass of bubbles on arrival, relax and enjoy your cruise. Your host will prepare delicious, fresh meals using local produce. Whitsunday Blue has modern amenities and well-appointed cabins.
See the world-famous Whitehaven Beach, snorkel in the beautiful blue waters over fringing reefs and maybe spot a turtle. Enjoy the use of stand-up paddleboards to view tropical marine life from another perspective.
Jump onboard and prepare for a peaceful holiday surrounded by beauty. Head over to the islands in time for sunset over the water as you enjoy a glass of your favourite wine and meet the others whom you’ll be spending time with. Have your dinner served under the stars before tucking in for the night in your cabin.
Wake up in the morning to the stunning island scenery surrounding the boat and enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board. Sail down to tongue bay to make your way up to Hill Inlet Lookout and take in the stunning vista of the world-famous Whitehaven Beach. Spend some time exploring the beach itself before coming back on board for lunch on the go. Watching the beautiful scenery change as you sail north.
Jump into the delightful water for a swim and snorkel over the beautiful coral reefs teeming with bright colourful fish. If you’re lucky, spot a turtle or meet George the Maori-Wrasse! If there’s time, possibly go for another beach visit or snorkel before sharing an antipasto platter while you watch the sunset.
Dinner under the stars once again as you wind down for the evening. In the morning enjoy another stunning vista with breakfast on the deck. Maybe jump in for a cheeky swim before setting sail for the mainland.
For our three day and three-night trip, you will have a whole extra day to mosey on through the secluded bays and coves around the Whitsunday Islands. Take everything a little slower and come back with more knowledge of the islands than some of the locals!
All meals are made onboard with skill and diligence to make the dining experience alone a pleasing element of your trip aboard Whitsunday Blue. Using fresh locally sourced and seasonal produce to bring you a mixture of hearty home-cooked style meals and refined cuisine.
A typical menu may include continental style breakfasts including fresh fruit, croissants or pancakes. Buffet-style lunch of wraps or rolls with cold meats and deliciously fresh salads on the side.
Dinners made up of chicken or steaks on the BBQ – cooked to your liking, with roast potatoes, crisp fresh salad, and other sides. Throughout your trip, there will be plenty of other snacks such as an antipasto platter, nachos, and tea, coffee, and cakes.
Services of skipper and crew, all meals and snacks, tap water, tea and coffee, bath and beach towels, snorkelling equipment and basic tuition, stinger suit, national and marine park fees and marina levies.
Whitsunday Blue is an adults-only vessel.
Whitsunday Blue has a BYO policy for all soft and alcoholic beverages. Soft drinks are sold on board at reasonable prices.
Please pack in a soft sided bag. (No hard/suitcases).
What to bring: clothes, toiletries, hat, swimwear, sunscreen, jacket/sweater, camera, sunglasses, runners or sandals for island walks, cash for soft drink purchases.
Whitsunday Blue has 4 private double cabins. Three have their own ensuite bathroom facilities. One has a bathroom that is shared with the two crew members.
Included is a $25 per person Environmental Management Charge (EMC). These monies go towards the management, maintenance, and protection of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and the National Parks, now and in the future.
