Located in Proserpine, just 26 kilometers southwest of Airlie Beach, the Proserpine Airport has flights that come directly from major cities, such as Brisbane and Sydney, and regional airports throughout the day.
The process of getting in and out of the airport is typically straight forward and a speedy process. However, there is still the drive to get from the airport to Airlie Beach. While driving by car typically takes around 30 minutes, if you take a bus into town plan for longer as there are multiple stops to drop people off at their accommodations.
