Meet your crew at Coral Sea Marina Resort (formerly the Abell Point Marina) at 8 am for a headcount, to depart the marina at 8:30 am. Want to get involved?
Why don’t you help hoist the sails, or have a go on the helm? If not, just relax as you cruise over the Whitsunday Passage to Whitsunday Island, all the way to Tongue Bay. Make the short way up the bush walk to Hill Inlet lookout to see that world-famous view of Whitehaven Beach and the Inlet.
After taking in those breathtaking views, walk down to the beach itself and enjoy the silica sand. Climb the driftwood tree, say hello to the local marine critters or try beachcombing for shells.
Back on board, sail north to another island where you’ll anchor just before sunset. Enjoy a drink and pre-dinner snacks and take in the glow as the sun sets over the Whitsundays. After dinner, grab your favourite drink and get stuck into a conversation with new friends.
Early rise for breakfast, then kit up with snorkeling gear, ready to jump in and discover the fringing coral reefs underwater. See tropical fish and maybe a turtle if you’re lucky, as they go about their life. Time for morning tea before heading on to another secluded bay for another snorkel or a beach stop.
After lunch, it is time to set the sails for the final time and head back across the Whitsunday Passage. Arrive back into Airlie Beach at 4 pm. (Perfect time to get settled into your accommodation and rest before meeting your new friends out for an after-party!)
All meals and snacks are included for the duration of your trip. Our crew freshly prepares each meal for you to enjoy using locally sourced, seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Usually served buffet style; you can choose to eat anywhere onboard. Meals are a great communal time to get to know your fellow travellers.
