A Relaxing Family Sailing Voyage
Whitsunday Adventurer is a modern and comfortable purpose-built charter yacht launched in 2010. The adventurer is most popular with guests who are seeking a relaxed, family-friendly, small-group adventure. The catamaran offers comfortable sailing and a spacious interior and a range of deck space.
There is plenty of time and flexibility at each stop. Featuring stand-up paddleboards and even a heated spa on the foredeck, there is something for everyone on this tour.
Depart the Coral Sea Marina Resort (formerly the Abell Point Marina) at 3.00 pm. Leave your worries behind as you sail to the first anchorage for your first swim and snorkel over the beautiful fringing coral reefs. Enjoy sunset nibbles and a drink before dinner.
Wake up to a stunning island view, enjoy breakfast as you head to Tongue Bay for a guided walk through National Park land to Hill Inlet Lookout. Take in the stunning views of the 7-km long stretch that is Whitehaven Beach at the top.
Then walk down to the beach and experience the silica sand for yourself. Back on board enjoy morning tea before heading north along the western side of Hook Island. Find anchorage in another secluded bay and enjoy lunch. Then time for another snorkel; meet the underwater life, try and find Nemo, maybe even bump into a turtle.
Then be taken to your overnight anchorage in one of the many bays on Hook Island. Enjoy sunset snacks and a drink and talk about the day with your new friends before dinner.
All meals and snacks are included for the duration of your trip. Our crew freshly prepares each meal for you to enjoy using locally sourced, seasonal fruits and vegetables. Usually served buffet style; you can choose to eat anywhere onboard. Meals are a great communal time to get to know your fellow travelers.
A typical menu includes continental style breakfasts, a filling lunch made up of build-your-own rolls and two different salads plus accompaniments. Two delicious and hearty dinners, usually home-cooked style meals with salads and side dishes.
There will be snacks and afternoon nibbles, and tea and coffee available throughout the trip.
Services of skipper and crew, all meals and snacks, tap water, tea and coffee, snorkelling equipment and basic tuition, stinger suit, national and marine park fees and marina levies.
Whitsunday Adventurer has a BYO policy for all soft and alcoholic beverages. No drinks are for sale on board, so don’t forget to bring what you’d like to drink!
